Good morning ladies and gentlemen, today my topic is on " live earth". concerts were held in different continents and broadcasted worldwide. it was suppose to influence everyone to be environment-friendly and save the earth from deteriorating further. However, these concerts do not seem to be helping the earth. Firstly, PLASTIC cups and bags were thrown on the ground after the concerts ended. does this serve the purpose of having these concerts?? i don't think so. shouldn't plastic cups be replaced with other materials?? incinerating the plastic cups would cause the ozone layer to deplete faster... Secondly, huge amount of electricity are also used during the concerts. the bright lightings and blasting of music seems fun to the people at the concert, but they are just neglecting the purpose of their trip there. I think the concert is redundant as it just adds to the damage to earth. the commercials they had might just be enough to influence the public to do their part and save earth. I hope this speech would prevent similar activities to occur which would not serve its purpose but in fact endanger the earth.
